WhistlePig Old World Rye Aged 12 Years is a richly layered American rye whiskey matured for 12 years in New American Oak, then finished in a combination of Madeira, Sauternes and Port casks. Bottled at 43% ABV, it brings together classic rye spice with ripe fruit and dessert-like richness.
Tasting notes: Caramel, vanilla and winter fruit on the nose. The palate shows rye spice, apricot, plum, raisins, dates and honey, followed by a long finish of dark chocolate, winter fruit, caramel and vanilla.
