Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey

Yellow Spot is part of the revived Spot Whiskey Range. More complex than it’s younger Green Spot siblings, it has notes of cedar wood, rich fruits, and vanilla. Exceptional whiskey.

by Martin’s Off Licence Staff:

Cedar wood, raisins, vanilla pods, apricots, rich fruit cake, spices.

Silky smooth. Fruit much more prominent. Cherries, marzipan, berries, plums, toasted almonds. Sweet sickly honey.

Medium finish, very sweet fruits. Apricots, peaches, oak.

Really smooth but complex pot still whiskey. Sweet fruit notes balanced really well with delicate oak and winter spices. Outstanding.

Yellow Spot 12 Year Old Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey has the rare taste of a bonder's style Single Pot Still Irish whiskey. Rather than being simply a finished whiskey, Yellow Spot is special in that it contains single pot still whiskey that has been matured for a full 12 year period in three oak cask types: American bourbon barrels, Spanish sherry butts and uniquely, Spanish Malaga casks. The influence of the Malaga cask brings an exotic sweet note to the whiskey making it a truly delightful taste experience.
