The Glendalough Pot Still Batch 1 was made from a 1:2 mash bill of malted and unmalted Irish barley, matured for 3 years in a Bourbon cask and up to a year in Irish oak casks.
Each bottle is individually numbered with tree, cask and bottle numbers.
|Nose||Raw malt aromas, with tannic oak, creamy vanilla notes and some oak char, with a wave of cinnamon spice.|
|Palate||Crystallised ginger and candied citrus, banana custard and maple syrup, leading into green oak and dried herbs.|
