Garavogue 20 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey from Hawk's Rock Distillery. Crafted by Master Blender Helen Mulholland, this limited inaugural release combines 14+ years in ex-bourbon casks with finishing in French Muscat, Sauternes, Spanish Sherry, and Barbadian Rum casks. Expect vanilla, warm peach, and spun sugar on the nose, with floral and raisin notes. The palate delivers vanilla and citrus sweetness, buttery ripe apples, and a fresh fruit finish. Complex, subtle, and distinctly different from traditional sherry-forward whiskeys. 47% ABV. Housed in a striking crescent-shaped bottle with blue label featuring Garavogue River wave patterns and Hazelwood House Windmill imagery—a tribute to Sligo's heritage and W.B. Yeats' spiritual home.

Tasting Notes

Palate: Full-bodied and velvety, showcasing sweet vanilla, citrus, and buttery ripe apples, balanced by dark coffee, walnut, custardy crème brûlée, and a light oak spice.

Finish: Long, warming, and elegant; rich with lingering fresh fruit sweetness, golden raisins, and seasoned oak wood.
