Truely exceptional whiskey from Bushmills which scored 95/100 and "Irish Single Malt of the Year" 2014 in Jim Murray's Whisky Bible. Aged for a minimum of 19 years in Oloroso Sherry and Bourbon-seasoned casks and then finished in Madeira casks for a further 2 years.

Nose: Rich and intense nose of winter spices, mocha, rich fruits, honey, and oak.

Palate: Fruit notes more pronounced on the palate. Opening up to more tropical than rich. Mango, banana, and dates. 

Finish: Long crisp finish of mint with some mild honey.

Best enjoyed neat. With a whiskey of this age it's best to allow it some time to breath in your glass to allow flavors to open up.
