Le Clos Jordanne Le Grand Clos Chardonnay

This flagship wine from Le Clos Jordanne is a Burgundian style Chardonnay. The cool climate and french oak, which is more delicately integrated into the wine, lends to a more elegant and refined wine than most other new world Chardonnay that explodes with oak and butter. 

The primary notes of lemon zest, orhard and stone fruits. Hints of quince and honey are joined with sublte oak and almonds notes. Bright acidity, medium to full bodied. This wine is closer to a Meursault than a Napa Chardonnay and in terms of price it is far above anything you will get from either of the previous mentioned regions.
