Wicklow Wolf’s 13th Locavore Hop Harvest release is a fresh-hop Extra Special Bitter brewed with Wicklow water, locally sourced Minch Malt barley and yeast from neighbouring WHC Labs. The brewery grew the Challenger, Cascade, Phoenix, Northdown and Northern Brewer hops on its own hop farm.
Aroma
Floral and earthy fresh-hop notes with a subtle lift of citrus.
Palate
Smooth malt sweetness balances a firm hop bitterness.
Finish
A lingering earthy hop bite with a light citrus edge.
Food pairing
Try it with a mature cheddar toastie, a steak and ale pie or roast chicken.
