Founded in Miyagi prefecture in 1724 as sake brewer for offerings to the Shiogama shrine. Since the 1930s the brewery was led by the famous brewing master Hirano and gained important prizes. They are famous for their aromatic Ginjo style with strong character. The brewery developed the sake yeast no. 12.
Mild and pleasant sake. Very popular in Japan. Excellent value. Medium dry, can be enjoyed cold and warm.
