A mineral driven red thanks to the volcanic soils of Tenerife in the Canary Islands. Vines are 100 years old and produce small yields each year.
A medium ruby colour, black cherry, fresh strawberry, cranberry on the nose. After the initial fruit, notes of cracked black pepper, thyme, smoked herbs and a flinty finish. Fine tannins and mouthwatering acidity sit in balance with this excelent wine that is a great expression of an under exposed region and grape variety.
