Restless River is a small, quality-focused estate in the cool Hemel-en-Aarde Valley near Hermanus on the Western Cape of South Africa. It is a sinlge vineyard Pinot Noir from their oldest wine block, offering red cherry and wild red berries with rose petals, earthy/forest-floor notes and savoury spice.
Silky and refined on the palate, with excellent freshness, purity of fruit and a long savoury finish. Bright acidity and light to medium bodied. This wine opens up again and again on the palate after each sip. Wonderfully balanced, greath depth and length. Concentrated and pure fruit flavours. A fantastic expression of Pinot Noir.
