A truly unique wine form the Roussilon region in the South of France. Made by the Lafage family who make exceptional wines acorss the region. All of there wines are made with the same philosophy, quality wines at affordable prices, and they deliver every time.
This is 100% Chardonnay, offering all the classic flavours of white peach, ripe pear and melon. A nice medium to full body wine with buttery mouthfeel. And to add extra depth, the wine is aged on Viognier lees from wines made in their other estates, which adds sublte bakery and honey notes.
30% of the wine is aged in old and neutral French oak to soften the wine, but expect thsi wine to be fruit driven with lots of subtle layers on each sip.
