Nikka Coffey Grain Japanese Whisky. A corn whiskey produced using Coffey stills imported from Scotland. This a smooth and sweet whisky that would catagorised as a bourbon had it been distilled in the United States.

Nose:

Very reminiscent of bourbon with a high corn mash bill. Vanilla, tropical fruits, and a hint of orange peel.

Palate:

Very smooth and easy drinking whisky. Sweet palate. Tropical fruits open up and you can get some mango and banana. Really well balanced.

Finish:

Again, similar to a bourbon, short finish of vanilla.
