La Dame de Montrose St-Estèphe is a dense black in colour with violet highlights. On the complex nose it has aromas of morello cherry, raspberry, dark tobacco and a touch of vanilla. In the mouth powerful blackberry fruit flavours, recurring flavours of raspberry, vanilla and mocha with discreet notes of wood and pepper. A long finish on neat and silky tannins. A superb wine dense and rich, a great magnitude with mineral character, great balance between acidity, fruit and tannins which allow it to age beautifully.
