A rich and full bodied wine from Puglia, in the south of Italy. Here a blend of Negraoamaro (80%) and Black Malvasia (20%) create this wonderfully deep red with notes of dark berries, cherry, charred oak and figs.
The wine is balanced beautifully and is not overly jammy. This has found the sweet spot between being the classic juicy Salice Salentino and also refined and elegant offering plenty of complexity and depth.
