Eric Louis is a 4th generation family winery with a history of growing vines in Sancerre since 1890. The wine is labelled Vin de France, (the lowest classification of the French system) but don't be fooled, this wine is as close ot Sancerre as it gets without the shiny label. Sauvignon grown on clay limestone soils across the central Loire region, hand picked and cold pressed to preserve fresh and precise fruit flavours. Aged on lees to add extra depth and roundness on the palate.
This light bodied, dry wine is bursting with racy acidity and fruit profile of limes, white peach and pasion fruit. Fresh and aromatic, a great introduction to some of the finer wines of the Loire.
