Dog Point Chardonnay is straw in colour. Fermented using natural yeasts. This wine is driven by a citrus core and mineral backbone, restrained flintiness and patisserie notes from extended aging on yeast lees. Matured for eighteen months in French Oak (of which a small amount is new) leads to a wonderfully balanced Chardonnay with focused texture, vibrant, fresh acidity and a long finish. Drink now or cellar from three to five years.
This wine is best served with scallops, white fish and BBQ pork.
