Padrísimo (Mexican slang for 'great!') is our winter warmer inspired by Mexican hot chocolate. This big stout was robust and complex already before we dropped 20kg of roasted cocoa nibs from Ecuador into the tank along with decent load of vanilla, cinnamon and bucketful of Ancho chillies.
These provide not only slightly warming finish, but also nice aroma of smoked plums that mingles with the pastry ingredients. It might smell like Christmas cookie, but finishes dry, bitter and a tad spicy with no sugary overload.
