Coming form a winery that prides itself on it's natural wine making techniques. Famille Hubert have been farming the in Blaye, overlooking the Gironde River from the right bank, since 1895. This is their main wine, and the Merlot (75%), Cabernet Franc (15%), and Malbec (10%) are farmed biodynamically. The wine has minimal intervention to produce something that is pure and true to the terrior as possible.
Wild fruits persist on the nose and palate, plum, blackberry and strawberry. Tannins are structured and elegant. Easy drinking, perfect with a bbq.
