From one of the finest wineries of the Saint Estephe appellation on the left bank of Bordeaux. A rich history as one of the oldest chateaus in the region and has 4ieme Grand Cru Classe status from 1855.
A deep ruby colour, blackberry and blackcurrant on the nose. Well integrated and soft flavours of cedar and cinnamon from 12 months in oak. Remarkably fresh and easy drinking, tannins are present but not overbearing. Potential for ageing, but also won't disappoint if drunk now.
