The Catena Zapata family has grown vines in the foothills of the Anden mountains for generations and it has a name of Argentina's Malbec Pioneer. Its historic high-altitude vineyards produce wine of unique character. The Catena Malbec is a powerful and full-bodied red wine with aromas of blackberries, plums and spices. In the mouth wine displays fruity flavours of dried raisins, blackberries and sweet tannins. The wine has great concentration, natural balance and distinct varietal identity.
