The Maibock’s flavour is malt-forward. The mixture of Pilsner, Vienna, and Munich malts combines to provide toasted notes and bready malt flavours, complemented by the warmth of the high ABV.
Tasting Notes:
Deep gold in colour, Maibock is a perfect beer for the turning of the season. It anticipates the golden beers of Summer, but as it’s traditionally brewed at strengths of 7.4% ABV and above, it still has a touch of the warming aspects of Winter beers.
