Château Batailley is one of the oldest estates in Pauillac. The name comes from the place where the last battle of the Hundred Years War, on the plateau leading to Château Latour. The 50 hectare vineyard estate belongs to the Castéja family since 1900. The tight gravel soil makes it a very distinguished and very true to the name.
Batailley is a classic Pauillac, with a dark ruby colour, well structured and pronounced notes of blackcurrant.
