Comte Lafond Sancerre is a pale golden-green in colour. The wine has an aromatic nose with floral notes of white flowers such as hawthorn, acacia, eglantine, and elderflower. This is backed up by blackcurrant buds and wild flowers. Lively on the palate, with very pleasant acidulous characteristics prolonged by light fruity notes. Dominated by flinty stones and chalk typical of fine Sancerre wines this is a full and refreshing wine.Food Recommendations:It will accompany most seafood dishes.
