Rhiannon Red is a dense ruby/purple in colour. On very attractive nose aromas of luscious cherry and fresh berry aromas, licorice, tar and a touch of subtle smoke. A pleasant surprise on the palate with a bright, transparent light mouth feel. The wine is medium-bodied and has surprising density as well as intensity. Well balance between fruit and oak. The tannins are relatively un obtrusive with little wood, juicy acidity and mocha tinged finish.
