Château Mont - Redon Lirac

Located on the opposite bank of the Rhône river to Châteauneuf-du-Pape and with similar soils and grape varieties, Lirac offers excellent value Southern Rhône Cru. This wine comes from the family-owned Château Mont-Redon estate, one of the top producers in the region. A classic blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre this Lirac is loaded with ripe bramble fruit and hints of cinnamon and pepper complexity from the careful use of French oak. Silky tannins and fresh acidity complement the long, savoury finish.
