TO ØL House of Pale is a pale Ale that has been developed over the last 3 years at our brewpub Brus and is basically our current "house pale ale” or the go-to pale ale. It is the gateway drug to the To Øl world of beers. It combines a smooth body based on the finest Maris Otter Pale Malts combined with a slight touch of Munich and Caramel Malts, just positioned to create a solid backbone to balance out the fresh citrus and passion-fruit notes from the hops. Fermented with a British Ale yeast, that adds loads of juicy aromas to the beer and leaves it (just like CITY Session IPA) nicely hazy and juicy looking. It comes in at 5,5% and honestly, we think some breweries would call this an IPA. It has more hops in it than most IPAs. “Problem” is that the beers we will call IPAs will have even more hops. So to distinguish, this will be sold as a To Øl Pale Ale.
