Turner Pageot Le Blanc is a blend of 80% Roussanne and 20% Marsanne. It is fermented like a red wine with the skins and stalks. This makes for a bitter and tannic white. Marsanne is not normally a very aromatic varietal, but this process brings out strong aromas. The final result is surprising. It’s full bodied with Citrus, bread dough, and white flowers and more vibrant than many Roussanne/Marsanne blends.
