This winery on the right bank of the Gironde River has been in the Despange family for over 200 years. On this grand cru site they grow 75% Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon 24% and Cabernet Franc 1%.

The result is a full bodied and excellently complex red wine. Bursting with fruit purity and intense notes of vanilla and toasted oak. 50% aged in new oak for 18 months. Indulgent and structured, with terrific length and new flavours exposed after each sip.
