Introducing Endangered Species no. 43, Whirlpool Galaxy. Nasa’s James Webb Space Telescope recently took an incredible photo of a distant Whirlpool Galaxy, and the brewing team were inspired to brew just that, a beer using Galaxy in the Whirlpool.
Tasting Notes:
A black IPA that pours a deep, dark black with a tan head, Whirlpool Galaxy is generously hopped with Galaxy hops in the whirlpool and during fermentation. A beer that boasts citrus, peach and passionfruit flavours and aromas coming through from the Galaxy hops, is supported by a strong roasted malt backbone, that brings roast coffee and dark chocolate notes.
