But don't be fooled: Imperial Blond is brewed entirely in Duvel style . While a shade darker in color, it's still recognizably clear-filtered and features that characteristic bottle refermentation.
The 10% alcohol content provides a powerful attack, while the generous malt content rounds off the sharpest edges.
The characteristic Duvel hops, Saaz-Saaz and Styrian Golding, have been balanced slightly differently, making it noticeably fruitier and smoother, and also less bitter. It's a give and take... so give us another.
