by Martin’s Off Licence Staff:

Nose:

Quite delicate initially, best to let this whiskey breath for about 10 minutes to open up. Once this whiskey gets some air, floral and spice notes open up. Subtle grass and cereal notes

Palate:

Quite a sweet palate. Vanilla and honey comb ice cream. Nice marrying of spice notes.

Finish:

One of the most interesting finishes I’ve experienced. Really crisp and sharp. Almost minty with some nice floral notes coming back.

Overall, this is an outstanding single malt. The quality of the whiskey does hold up the hype and marketing behind this series.
