Brewed in collaboration with Brasserie Nautile, Nantes, France. Dublin and Nantes come together to produce this bitter and aromatic west coast IPA. We share a lot: both cities are ports of immense historical importance, both inextricably linked to the sea, and, since Nantes is historically a Breton city, both share a rich Celtic heritage. The Groac'h is a sea witch from Breton mythology, often sinister and malevolent, she dwells in sea caverns and under the waves, she can shape shift and deceive, and she has even been known to transform the men she has seduced into fish and serve them to her dinner guests!
Brewed using traditional double decoction methods, coupled with mash hopping. and a mixture of Golden Promise and German Pilsner malt. Balanced with hops such as the tropical Dolcita, and the more resinous Simcoe and Idaho 7.
