Oseberg is a Palo Cortado Barrel Aged Kviek Imperial Stout that has been fermented with the Norwegian Kveik yeast at high temperatures and then aged in Palo Cortado Sherry barrels.
Tasting Notes:
The body and the velvety texture of Oseberg are combined with important fermentation notes of light orange peel coming from the Kveik yeast that mix together beautifully with a spectrum of flavours that those staves have absorbed over the years from the Palo Cortado aging: dried fruits, tobacco and red fruits above them all.
