D'Arenberg Lucky Lizard Chardonnay is an exceptional wine from Adelaide Hills in Australia, where crisp and minerally cool climate is mixed with dry sun. This wine is a classic Chardonnay with nectarine, granny smith apples, figs and frangipani with tones of savoury sea. The wine ageing in lightly toasted and well-seasoned French oak gives hint of butterscotch.
The palate is also bursting with flavour but the wine is not at all blowsy. On the contrary, the mineral like acidity tightens the ship and a raft of savoury, cashew and oyster shell flavours kick in, driving the wine to a fine and persistent finish.
