Clase Azul Tequila Añejo is proof that the best things in life take time. Its taste and decanter are a tribute to the Mazahua indigenous culture.
A super-premium añejo tequila from Clase Azul, presented in their instantly recognisable decanter. Made using traditional Mexican unfired clay methods, before European glazing techniques and hand painted designs are added, it is said to signify the result of two worlds meeting, just like the spirit itself.
Its intense amber color and complex aromas result from a magnificent 25-month journey in American whiskey casks.
The nose delivers succulent scents of clove, orange marmalade, and bold whiffs of oak.
Clase Azul Añejo tequila has a distinctive yet approachable flavour that makes it perfect for people trying tequila for the first time and connoisseurs alike. This tequila tastes like Mexican vanilla, and orange marmalade with a dash of spices.
The aftertaste gives off an intense flavour of the American oak casks in which it was stored.
