The winemaker, Anselmo Mendes, is not just known for making wines of exceptional quality but for his innovation. Here, he uses the staple white grape of the Vihno Verde, Alvarihno and gives the wine some skin contact, as the name suggests. The result is a wonderfully textured, velvet white wine that exhibits lasting flavours from citrus, orchard and stone fruits.
A dry and medium bodied white wine. It can stand up to more intensely flavoured dishes like grilled white meats and pork as well as handling the diversity of charcuterie and cheese boards, while also being very moreish on it's own.
