Leann Folláin was initially aged for 6 months in Irish Whiskey ex-Bourbon casks and then finished for a further 6 months in Irish Whiskey Ex-Oloroso Sherry casks which were previously part of a Solera system in Jerez, Spain. After blending and decanting, the beer was bottle-conditioned for 90 days before release. This resulted in a beer with multiple layers of complexity and character.
