Dungarvan Copper Coast Irish Red Ale is a smooth, fruity ale with a definite caramel character created by the use of crystal malt in the brewing process but with an added hop balance that is not always present in red ales and which offsets the sweetness of the caramel flavours.
Food Recommendations
This is a beer that works well with most meat dishes but in particular roast meats as the caramels of both the beer and the meat complement each other fantastically.
