Our Pearse Five Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey with Decanter & Glass set.

The first Pearse whiskey to come from their own stills. The stills which are currently in Pearse Lyons Distillery, Co.Dublin had a temporary home at the Carlow Brewery - home to O'Hara's Craft Beer. The vendome stills were originally made in Louisville, Kentucky and were previously used at Alltech's Lexington Brewing Company.

ABV: 46%
Barrel Aging: Ex-Bourbon barrels.
Age: 5 Year Old

Tasting Notes

Nose: This whiskey is light and malty with hints of fresh oak, zingy citrus, fleshy fruit, vanilla, clove spices, biscuit and candied fruit.
Palate: The palate offers a delicate maltiness, a light pepperiness, hints of crisp green apple, citrus, candied fruit, toasted oak, vanilla, candied apple and a warming clove spice.
