Mâcon Lugny Les Charmes Chardonnay is golden yellow in colour with green highlights, when young bright blue. On the very complex nose aromas of white and dried fruit, citrus, peach and apricot with subtle floral notes of acacia blossom and fresh butter. The palate is full, elegant and rich with wonderful balance between sweetness and acidity with marked fruitiness and freshness, followed by spicy aftertaste. The structure and slightly spicy flavour of Les Charmes makes it unique among Mâconnais wines. The wine is still very aromatic and very fresh after ageing.
